I'm doing an intership at Beekeeping, bee production and pathology, IZS of the Lazio and Tuscany regions "M. Aleandri" in Rome. I'm a biologist currently coordinating a project at my institute focused on the "Conservation, protection, and enhancement of Apis mellifera ligustica in Lazio: genetic and morphological characterization, and best beekeeping practices." Instrumental insemination is a key component of this project, which aims to conserve the Apis mellifera ligustica subspecies in Lazio.
